A patented wheeled excavator with integrated grading blade and dump bed — built on a weight-shift frame that tows directly behind a pickup. No trailer. No CDL. No oversize permits.
A wheeled excavator with 360-degree rotating cabin. An integrated six-way power blade for grading — which also stabilizes the machine during excavation. A hydraulic dump bed for material transport — which also stores the boom during towing. Every component serves double duty.
The patented slidable plate shifts the cabin weight rearward past the tandem axle. The front wheels lift. The tow hitch extends from inside the frame. Hook up and go.
The slidable plate assembly is the heart of TowQuad Pro. A hydraulic ram moves the plate — and with it, the cabin and digging arm — forward or backward along the main frame. The tandem axle walking beam acts as a fulcrum. Shift the weight rearward past the axle, and the front wheels lift off the ground.
The extendable tow hitch deploys from inside the main frame side rails. The excavator connects directly to a pickup truck’s hitch. During digging operations, the same system distributes weight automatically for balance on uneven terrain — while the cabin maintains full 360-degree rotation.
Six-Way Blade
Primary: finish and rough grading. Secondary: stabilizes the machine during excavation operations.
Hydraulic Dump Bed
Primary: on-site material hauling. Secondary: stores the boom and digging arm during towing.
Weight-Shift System
Primary: enables trailer-free transport behind a pickup. Secondary: distributes weight for balance during excavation.
I built one machine that digs, grades, and hauls — and I tow it to the job behind my F-250.
82% of US construction companies have fewer than 10 employees. They can’t justify separate machines for every task — or the trailers, CDLs, and delivery fees to get them to the job. Backhoe sales are down 16.7% year-over-year. The market is moving toward versatile, compact equipment. TowQuad Pro is what comes next.

The broadest independent claims (23 and 28) protect the entire machine configuration — not just one mechanism. Slidable plate, rotatable base, cabin, digging arm, six-way blade, extendable tow hitch, dump bed, and walking beam axle system.
Broadest claims (23, 28) cover the entire system configuration: slidable plate + rotating cabin + digging arm + six-way blade + tow hitch + dump bed + walking beam axles.
